Game Details

Ace of Aces: Low gross and low net winners qualify for a later playoff. A golfer may win only once, so there will be at least 12 different winners during the season. We try to schedule 8 games for the season. Playoff: All golfers play for overall low gross or net. (Also Golf British Columbia & Golf Canada PIN Round Qualifier)

Best 9 Holes: Select better 9 holes front or back and deduct 1/2 your handicap for a net score.

Best of the Best: Use scores for 2 best Par 3 holes, 2 best Par 5 holes, and 5 best Par 4 holes. Total will be a 9 holes score and use 1/2 your handicap.

BIG 3 : Fairways, Greens & Putts
Points will be awarded: 5 for hitting fairways on Par 4 & 5; 3 for hitting the green on Par 3. Points will be subtracted for each putt on the hole. You can get a negative on each hole. Total Points wins, no handicap adjustments.

Bingo, Bango: 1 point is awarded for each: first player to reach the green & player closest to the hole (all players on green)

Crier’s Tourney: Use handicap; each player picks her 2 worst holes and is allowed to change them to par instead!

Half and Half: Count putts on the front 9 and net score on the back. Add together & lowest total wins.

Hidden Holes: Stroke play with full handicap. The 9 holes for scoring is revealed after play. Low net wins.

Hidden Partners: Partners are drawn after play is finished. Combined low net team wins.

Least Putts: Just count your putts for 18 holes.

Ladies Memorial Day: Don’t count hole #18, take an Eagle on hole #11, and take a one putt on hole #13. Then subtract your full 18-hole handicap. Remembering all our old golf buddies where ever they maybe.

Nassau: Prizes are given for the best front 9, best back 9, and best 18, using full handicap. There will be different winners in each category.

Odd or Even: Winner is the player with best net score for either all the odd holes or all the even holes.

O.N.E.S. Count only the holes beginning with the letters in ‘ones’. (Holes 1, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 16, 17 & 18) Subtract one half of handicap.

Par Points: Use full handicap strokes. Score 1 for net bogey, 2 for net par, 3 for net birdie, 4 for net eagle.

Pat Gordon: Eclectic tournament played over 2 days

Poker Hand: Using your score, hands are rated as follows: 1 pair, 2 pairs, 3 of a kind, straight, full house, 4 of a kind, 5 of a kind. (The only time that five 9’s is good!)

Putt Like Mary: Count your putts for 18 holes. Change any hole on the front nine to a one-putt. Change any hole on the back nine to a zero putt. Lowest score wins.

Scramble – 4 Lady: Everyone hits off the tee. Everyone putts on the green. The best drive or fairway shots will not shoot consecutively.
